That was rough! A Hermes messenger throws a package in a wide arc in front of a front door. The customer hears everything via his door camera.

Munich – Yes, the package has landed at the desired storage location. But pretty rough. A Hermes customer posted a video on Facebook showing the delivery bag being delivered to the front door.

Hermes messenger almost throws the shipping bag on the car – the customer sees everything

“We were given the storage location, so far that’s fine,” explains the customer, and scolds: “But I didn’t mean the flight delivery. Shipping bag with expensive contents just missed my car and hit the rain barrel, then fell in the dirt.”

Sure, parcel carriers are almost always under stress. The shipment volume for parcels is increasing and increasing. The employees have to bring more and more orders to the customer at the same time. Then the porcelain flies meters over the fence. Often annoying for the recipient.

The Hermes customer was even able to see his shipping bag being thrown in a high arc in the dirt. His door camera recorded everything. The driver can be seen in the picture and is obviously in a hurry. As soon as the package is in front of the house, he rushes on with the van.

“I sent the video to Hermes”: Customer probably does not receive an answer to the complaint

“Sent the video to Hermes and asked if that was the new way of delivery, no response,” the man writes. Hermes itself is only partially responsible. The drivers are usually employed by subcontractors.

As unpleasant as the package was thrown for the customer to look at, his goods were apparently not damaged and the package arrived on time. This might turn out to be significantly worse. A DHL customer received his envelope completely shredded, parts of the contents were missing.
