After years of making accessories for Apple Watches, iPhones and even AirTags, the French luxury brand Hermes has recently expanded into the world of AirPods with the launch of two new products designed for owners of the Pro of Apple headphones.
The first of them is an elegant protective case for the AirPods Pro, made of Swift calf leather. Compatible with both generations of Apple’s fully wireless headphones, it comes with a handle for greater convenience — a detail that can be quite interesting especially for owners of the first generation of AirPods Pro, which does not have the side insert.
As noted by Hermès itself, with this case, the user can wear the AirPods Pro as a kind of necklace, shoulder bag or as an accessory for a bag. Behind the iconic saddle nailhot-stamped, marks the region where the device’s pairing button is located.
Made in France, the accessory supports wireless charging for the headphones (but is not water resistant) and is available in Gold, Navy Blue, Green Locust, Pink Azalea e Linen Blueby affordable 780€ (just over BRL 4 thousand, in direct conversion) on the manufacturer’s website.
The second accessory is a strap, also made of Swift calf leather, developed specifically for the second generation AirPods Pro. Just like the case, it has an almost smooth texture that, according to the brand, “becomes even more flexible with time”.
The detail that draws the most attention to the accessory, however, is the saddle nail in palladium-plated brass that joins the two ends of the handle.
A little more “affordable” than the case (280€that is, around R$1,500, at the current exchange rate), the handle is available in Gold, Bamboo, Navy Blue, Pink Azalea e Linen Blue no site of Hermès.
