Bahram Awari was a member of the National Assembly in 1988 and 1990 and also a member of Majlis Shura under former Prime Minister Muhammad Khan Junejo.
He also represented Pakistan in the United Nations General Assembly in 1983.

According to Dinsha B. Awari, his grandfather came to Karachi from Mumbai, India.
According to Dinsha B. Awari: ‘When India and Pakistan became two separate countries in 1947, we did not go to India even then, so why should we go now? We live and die with Pakistan.
Awari Hotels Limited manages 10 hotels in different cities of Pakistan with 1500 to 2000 rooms and around 2000 employees.
