Finally complete the audit order from state-affiliated and state-owned companies
St. Pölten (OTS) – “The ÖVP’s self-service at the expense of Lower Austria is taking more and more shape. The current revelations regarding Wolfgang Sobotka’s ‘Nature in the Garden’ playground are apparently just another tip of an iceberg. “It is now all the more important that the State Audit Office fulfills its mandate immediately and presents the audit reports to the State Parliament,” said State Control Councilor and SPNÖ Chairman Sven Hergovich in response to a current report by the news magazine Profil in connection with a survey commissioned by the pollster and former ÖVP minister Sophie Karmasin in connection with the state initiative “Nature in the Garden”.
In this sense, Hergovich is once once more calling on the State Audit Office to immediately complete the open audit mandate of state-affiliated and state-owned companies: “The submission of the reports and detailed documents to the State Parliament’s Audit Committee are overdue. What is the purpose of this delaying tactic or is it even intended to cover something up?” says Hergovich.
