Some have reported performance issues in games and applications. Very quickly, Microsoft acknowledged the problemstating that Windows 11 could trigger additional software processes that can result in significant performance drops : “Affected games and applications inadvertently enable GPU performance debugging features that are not intended for consumer use.

In the process, the Redmond company decided to block the download of the 22H2 update on a set of systems affected by these bugs. Ultimately, these issues have been resolved with the deployment of a patch on November 30, 2022.
