According to forecast models, in the medium to long term we cannot believe we will say goodbye to rain and bad weather. The weather, in fact, will continue to have “typically spring” characteristics. In other words, “regular passages of disturbances” are not excluded. This, however, does not mean that there cannot be “surprises with a summer flavour”.

Based on the latest projections, “immediately following the middle of the month, a robust expansion of the boiling North African Anticyclone on the Central Mediterranean is possible, with the direct involvement of Southern Italy”, anticipates the expert. What are the consequences? “For the southern regions it would be the beginning of a phase of practically summery, stable and sunny weather, characterized by the first real heat wave, with temperatures that might widely reach and exceed 30 degrees”.
