Here’s what Prince Louis (4) said to his great-grandmother on the Buckingham Palace balcony

It is an exchange which the many observers of the day yesterday attended without knowing exactly what it was regarding. Prince Louis, the youngest son of Prince William and Catherine, who multiplies mischievous grimaces, turns to his great-grandmother the Queen and appears to ask her a question as the royal family is on the balcony of Buckingham during this first day of festivities devoted to the sovereign’s platinum jubilee.

According to Jeremy Freeman, an expert in lip reading, quoted by the Daily Mirror, the little boy no longer knew how to hide his impatience. He asked his Granny: “Are the Red Arrows coming?” To which the Queen replied: “I hope”.

The Red Arrows are in French the “Red Arrows”. They make up the Royal Air Force Aerobatic Patrol.

When the Red Arrows appeared and painted the sky red, white and blue, Louis’ excitement seemed to peak, the young child exclaimed, “Yes Yes Yes.”

The Queen then said to him: “That’s it“before Louis adds:”Oh Red Arrows – Whoah.”
