Disney’s D23 Expo kicks off today (Friday, September 9) and fans are expecting a flurry of Disney, Marvel and Star Wars announcements throughout the weekend.
Tonight will also see a showcase dedicated to Disney and Marvel games which will include reveals from Disney & Pixar Games, Marvel Games, Lucasfilm Games and 20th Century Games.
Starting at 9:00 p.m. BST and lasting 90 minutes, the live-streamed presentation will be available to view via the D23 website and on social media platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. Fans can also watch it below.
The showcase will feature the recently delayed midnight sunsthe very recent Disney Valley of Dreams and potential expansion for Lego Star Wars : The Skywalker Saga.
Viewers were also promised a “taste of the next Marvel ensemble game from Skydance New Media,” the studio led by Unexplored legend Amy Hennig.
Hennig was confirmed to be working on a “blockbuster, narrative-driven action-adventure game with a completely original story and a take on the Marvel Universe” last October. The following month, famed comic book writer Marc Bernardin was confirmed as writing for the project.

It was confirmed earlier this year that Hennig’s Skydance New Media is also working with Lucasfilm Games on a new story-driven action-adventure. star wars Titre.
Tonight’s D23 games showcase might also say more about kingdom hearts 4 (eagle-eyed fans noticed a keyblade in the poster announcing the event) and Star Wars Jedi: Survivorwhile a trailer hints at updates on Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers et Aliens: Dark Descent.
Aliens: Dark Descent is currently considering a 2023 release, while Avatar: Pandora’s Frontiers has been postponed to 2023 at the earliest.
In other news, Battlefield will receive a new “narrative campaign” from the studio of Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, Electronic Arts (EA) announced.
