Within the Montazah Gardens, east of Alexandria Governorate, there is the ancient tea kiosk, one of the most important places where King Farouk used to sit with world leaders to drink tea, which has been called by this name since 1936.
The tea island kiosk dates back to the Montazah Gardens, east of Alexandria Governorate, which was established in 1936 AD. The Egyptian architect Mustafa Pasha Fahmy designed and supervised its implementation.
The tea kiosk was built in the Roman style in the form of a rectangle with four facades, the most important of which is the southern facade.
It is noteworthy that the tea kiosk is registered in the census of archaeological areas, according to the law of the Permanent Committee for Antiquities of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, for its historical value within the park gardens.
