The Court of Auditors has published the mandates and remuneration of elected officials for the year 2020.
For Valentine’s Day, the Court of Auditors has published the figures that everyone likes to consult: the remuneration of our representatives. These data, which detail the mandates, functions and professions of elected officials for the year 2020, have been compiled and added together by Cumuleo, the watchdog for transparency in Belgian politics.
For the year 2020, nearly 10,000 agents have been identified by the Court of Auditors. Of these 9,530 representatives, we decided to retain 45: members of the three regional governments and the federal government. For the first three governments, the legibility of remuneration is very clear since these bodies were set up in 2019. The figures presented show what the ministers earn in the year.
