Food and gastronomy
A bar like we like to find in the capital.
There is no shortage of great places to have a drink in Brussels, however bars where it is possible to attend live music sessions are rarer. Also, we had to share with you our latest find in this area. Le Strof, located in the Grand Sablon district in the heart of Brussels, this establishment will appeal to all lovers of cocktails and music.

Opened two years ago, the bar specializes in concerts. It thus opens its doors to budding musicians so that they can perform in front of an audience and even gives them the opportunity to record songs in a room specially dedicated to this purpose. We mainly find artists from Brussels in all musical genres: rap, rock, jam… Le Stroff tries to offer a different style every day. Recently, the bar even invited the singer Lio so that she might judge the talents and advise them before performing the show in turn. When the mood is right, the tenants push the tables to make way for a dance floor. In a completely different style, the Strof also offers tables on the terrace where it is possible to play chess, something to satisfy all profiles.
On the menu, there is a wide variety of Belgian beers as well as the most famous cocktails, all revisited in the sauce of the establishment with original ingredients. Elliot, the mastermind behind the project, also plans to soon offer bentos with, among other things, sushi, arancini, nachos… In other words, street food from around the world. Elliot has no shortage of projects for the future and would like to improve the Strof with new renovations and new inventive recipes.
In short, a nice establishment that brings together everything you like for a romantic evening or with friends. If you want to discover this place for yourself, go to 2 rue Haute in Brussels.
