Since this Saturday evening, Chayenne Van Aerle is no longer Miss Belgium. The one who was injured in a car accident recently lost her crown to Emilie Vansteenkiste.
The competition had started late following a man was arrested. The latter intended to commit an attack and “blow everything up”. He was arrested by the police, present in large numbers to guarantee security during the competition.
Emilie Vansteenkiste is therefore the big winner of the beauty contest and is crowned Miss Belgium 2023.
Described as altruistic, she does Latin dancing with her companion. She participated in this competition to pay tribute to her mother, who died last year of cancer.
Its first runner-up is Claire Lansenebre, 24, chef, from Knokke-Heist. The other four runners-up are respectively Victoria Kembukuswa, Cécile Deltour, Haïfa Salem Ali and Léna Forseille.
