Here is everything that will happen at the (free) Eco-Village of Terres du Son 2022

This year the Covid will not disfigure Terres du Son. I repeat: this year the Covid will not disfigure Terres du Son (if we respect the barrier gestures more or less correctly for the next two months). After a completely canceled 2020 edition and a redesigned festival in 2021, the event that animates the Domaine de Candé de Monts for 3 days each summer returns in its usual format from Friday 8 to Saturday 10 July.

Usual format for Terres du Son means a paid space with big stages and the headliners that go with it (Vianney, Kungs, Juliette Armanet, Deluxe, Martin Solveig, PNL…) and a free space in the park.

And today it is regarding the program of this famous Eco-Village that we are talking to you regarding. Eco-Village because Terres du Son wants to be an eco-responsible festival, that is to say one that goes further than reusable cups (dry toilets, catering with local and organic products, presence of associations working for the defense of the environment…). Each year the ASSO tries to reduce its carbon footprint a little, which is not easy when you aim to welcome 40,000 people in 3 days.

Terres du Son 2022 will therefore be ecological or it will not be (no it is not Emmanuel Macron who is writing this article, and no he will not come to sing at Terres du Son, we are just paraphrasing one of his campaign speeches in order to make a joke). For example, we can discover the low-tech universe in a dedicated space (low-tech means simple, inexpensive and easily repairable technologies). Local AOC Touraine winemakers will have their own wine bar. new associations green-friendly will have their stand, as will a dozen craftsmen and designers.

Added to this is the presence of an agora with debates and conferences (the program will be announced later) and a place dedicated to local innovations.

The Eco-Village is also music with a slew of certified short circuit groups (17 in 3 days). Extract from the list: DJ Unverse and Afrojules on Friday, SLSTS, DJ Kéké and Noé on Saturday, Voudou-Vodou, Pacocha Disco and Brigade on Sunday. And for the little ones, three shows for young audiences, including one called save the daisies. Access to all of this is free. It takes place in the grass, under the trees and at the foot of the castle of Candé, with a view of the Indre valley. And to find out more, go to www.terresduson.com.
