For those who don’t know, GGAide is an initiative of Techaide and organized by Behavior Interactif, Rovio and Tencent – ​​with the support of the LG2 box. This year, GGAide has the goal of raising $200,000 for Centraide.

The event is back this year and will cover 30 years of video game creation in Quebec.

To mark these 30 years, “this one-day conference takes advantage of the enthusiasm and expertise of the Quebec video game industry, a world leader in this field, which employs more than 15,000 people and which has become, over the past three decades, one of the top five game development centers in the world.

Hosted by Fred Bastien, renowned producer, director, animator and artist, the conference will explore this rich and colorful history and look at the future of the Quebec video game industry through conferences and round tables on themes such as :

a study by the Quebec Video Game Guild which presents the key ingredients of Quebec’s success in video games followed by a panel “Looking at the future: the evolution of the Quebec video game industry”, at which will participate Chris Chauncey; the repercussions of Assassin’s Creed on the local industry with Patrice Désilet; Interactive Behavior, an international success story; the AI ​​revolution and video games.

BILLETS : All proceeds from the conference will be donated to Centraide, which fights once morest social exclusion and poverty through innovative initiatives and campaigns in the corporate sector.
