A few months ago, the Vias Institute tested a new kind of ANPR cameras. Thanks to artificial intelligence, they spot drivers using the smartphone or their laptop while driving. And some photos taken by these surveillance cameras are very amazing!
Before their final approval, a new test must be carried out with the police forces to evaluate the integration of this technology in their systems. In the meantime, certain images collected challenge, as they show reckless risk-taking.
First of all, let’s remember that the images were taken on a very busy ring in the country, and not in a small remote town.
