The band “Buntspech” ensured a packed cultural gathering on Friday.

“The musical quality was at a top level,” says organizer Friedl Göschel from kultur:plattform, summing up the festival positively. “Every year we ask ourselves how we can maintain the quality of the previous year with our limited budget. But thanks to the high density of first-class bands, we always succeed,” says Göschel happily.

The first-class program was also rewarded by the Pongau audience. The cultural meeting in the district capital was particularly well attended on Friday and Saturday. “Since advance sales have been used less and less since Corona, I was even more pleased that so many people spontaneously found their way to us,” says the organizer. The combination of well-known names like Buntspecht and regional bands like the Brothers van Yarns has apparently paid off.

Volunteering keeps the festival going

Göschel attributes the fact that big names from the national music scene also like to come to the Herbstlärm Festival to the personal environment: “The musicians are well looked following and sit together with the guests. That is well received.” Finally, the organizer points out the diverse support from the region. “Sponsors, donors and the community help us wherever they can,” he explains. “And without the around 25 volunteers who get involved, the Herbstlärm Festival wouldn’t exist anyway. I’m very grateful for that,” emphasizes Göschel.
