Dimitris Alexandrou and Ioanna Touni have for the last 2 years divided their lives in two different places, in Athens and in Thessaloniki.
The couple maintains homes in both of their bases since the Ioanna Tunis also has her company in Thessaloniki, while o Dimitris Alexandrou is professionally active in Athens. About 1 year ago however, they moved to a new apartment in Athens in the Northern Suburbs. Through the home tour, which Ioanna Tunis did on Instagram, she showed us thoroughly their home in Athens when it was still in its initial stages (see the videos here).
As Ioanna Tunis pointed out, the apartment was received in not so good condition, made with poor and cheap materials, as the rooms were separated by plasterboards. However, the couple and their decorator and friend, Stefanos, put all their art into upgrading it, and today it has been successfully completed.

In fact, through a new video uploaded by the influencer today, Wednesday 07/11, she seems to be enjoying the comfort of her home with her son, who has decorated it with various elegant decorations and flowers, and together, they are making use of the spacious space for playing and painting.
According to youweekly, the house is made entirely of wood and plants prevail throughout the apartment, while it has a comfortable living room with a dining room, a large kitchen with a central counter, 2 bathrooms, a story room, a laundry room, a room for Alexander’s corridor, a children’s room and of course the couple’s bedroom.

Ioanna Touni owns many houses. In particular, she has a total of three houses in Thessaloniki, where she lives in one, while the other two she bought to rent out along the way (see her entire property here). Meanwhile, her partner has acquired a summer house in Arachova from his family, where he goes with the Influencer and their son as often as they can to escape a little.

In fact, they recently completed the renovation in their summer house, and the well-known influencer did not fail to share photos from before and after. **Editor:** Let’s talk about your apartment in the Northern Suburbs of Athens. You mentioned in your Instagram home tour that you received the apartment in less-than-perfect condition. What was your vision for the space?
**Ioanna Touni:** Our vision was to create a warm and inviting family home. Initially, the apartment had poor materials and didn’t utilize the space well. We wanted to transform it into a comfortable and stylish oasis, reflecting our personalities and lifestyle.
**Editor:** How did you and your decorator, Stefanos, tackle the renovation? What were some key changes you made?
**Ioanna Touni:** We worked closely with Stefanos to reconfigure the layout and use high-quality materials. We removed the plasterboard divisions to create a more open concept. The use of wood and plants was essential because we wanted a natural, earthy feel. The end result is a spacious living area, a big kitchen, and a dedicated play area for my son, Alexander.
**Editor:** I saw your recent video showcasing the completed apartment. It looks fantastic! What elements are you most proud of?
**Ioanna Touni:** I’m particularly proud of the way we’ve integrated nature into our home. The plants bring life to the space, and I love the cozy feeling it creates. I’m also really happy with how the communal areas turned out; they’re perfect for family gatherings and playing with Alexander.
**Editor:** It sounds like a beautiful balance of aesthetics and functionality. Besides your home in Athens, you mentioned owning several properties in Thessaloniki. What prompted your decision to invest in those?
**Ioanna Touni:** Owning multiple properties was a strategic decision—I wanted to secure a financial future and provide rental options for others. Thessaloniki is such a vibrant city, and having those homes allows me to contribute to the local economy while also having a backup plan.
**Editor:** That’s a savvy move! How do you manage your time between running your business and maintaining two homes?
**Ioanna Touni:** It’s all about organization and prioritization. I try to set specific times each week for work and family. It can get hectic, but I’m passionate about what I do, and I make it work. Plus, having a supportive partner like Dimitris makes a huge difference.
