Her husband suffered a heart attack while driving, she got off the road to assist him and died after being run over

A woman was run over to death while getting out of her truck to try to help her partner, who suffered a heart attack while driving the vehicle. The man also passed away.

The event occurred at 6 in the morning this Wednesday on National Route 12, near the city of Esquina, in Corrientes.

The fatal victims were identified as María Suárez and Manuel Ferreyra (68), according to Commissioner Sergio Aguilar, head of the Institutional Relations Department of the Corrientes Police.

The couple was driving a Ford Ranger truck and was hit by a Toyota Sw4 truck. As confirmed by Aguilar, those who were in the Toyota were unharmed.

Regarding the fact, the commissioner explained that the couple was heading from the south to the north along National Route 12 and that the other mobile was going from north to south.

The vehicle was left out of its lane on the opposite road.

The First Corner District Commissioner is in charge of the expertise, proceedings and procedures of the case.
