Her heart stopped for 22 minutes.. The hero of the Egyptian national team comes back to life by a miracle

After her heart muscle stopped for 22 minutes, Egyptian triathlon champion Jumana Yasser regained consciousness following being resuscitated.

Jumana underwent first aid and was then transferred to a hospital in Alexandria Governorate, northern Egypt, to receive treatment following performing the necessary tests and required analyzes. After that, her heart muscle returned to pumping once more following 22 minutes of stopping.

She started to regain consciousness

Mohamed El-Gohary, Jumana Yasser’s triathlon coach, said yesterday that she had finally begun to regain consciousness, open her eyes, smile and shake hands with visitors, following 20 days in intensive care, according to local media.

He added, “Praise be to God, all of us, our psyche has begun to improve with Jumana’s improvement, and this is a favor from our Lord to us,” considering that it is only a matter of time for the heroine to return to her normal life once more, asking to continue praying for her until she recovers completely.

25 resuscitation attempts

The hospital where the young heroine was treated had previously announced her death, but she stuck to life following 25 attempts to resuscitate the heart.

It is noteworthy that the player suddenly fell during the exercise 20 days ago, and entered a state of convulsion and loss of consciousness that led to the stopping of her heart muscle.
