There was a Swedish win in the singles competition in the ITF W15 in Varberg on Sunday. After a first game that lasted regarding 15 minutes, the rest of the match went faster. Caijsa Hennemann, KLTK, was able to win with a clear 6-0, 6-1 once morest 363-ranked Elena Malygina from Estonia.
– I have played a quarter-final and a semi-final here before, so finally it was a win. I am very happy with the final and also with the whole week and above all that I played good tennis, says Caijsa.
On Saturday, Ida Johansson (SALK) and Jacquline Nylander Altelius (Lidingö TK) were in the doubles final. After a good week, however, there was a loss in the final 4-6, 1-6 once morest Sina Herrmann / Marcelina Podlinska.
Now we turn up the ITF level to W35 and land in Båstad where Fanny Östlund (USIF), Caijsa Hennemann (KLTK) and Jacqueline Cabaj Awad (Helsingborgs TK) enter their own ranking. There is also the quartet Nellie Taraba Wallberg (Påvelunds TBK), Bella Bergkvist Larsson (Helsingborgs TK), Linea Bajraliu (Helsingborgs TK) and Isabel Skoog (Påvelunds TBK) who all received wild cards to the main draw.
On Monday, no less than eleven Swedish women compete in the qualifiers; Louise Brunskog (Fair Play TK), Jacquline Nylander Altelius (Lidingö TK), Ida Johansson (SALK), Tilde Strömquist (SALK), Tilda Hessleryd (Fair Play TK), Iva Marinkovic (Ullevi TK), June Björk (Trollbäckens TK), Clara Nilsson (Fair Play TK), Rebecca Malmström (KLTK) and finally Alice Helgesson (Båstad TS) and Julita Saner (Stora Wäsby TK) who meet in the first qualifying round.

The Swedish ITF competitions are close now. At the same time, the M25 starts in Värnamo where Karl Friberg (Solna TK), Adam Heinonen (Växjö TS) and Sebastian Eriksson (KLTK) can be found in the main draw. There are also four Swedish wild cards here; Jack Karlsson Wistrand (SALK), Oskar Jansson (Ullevi TK), Saba Nanobashvili, ATL Lund and Albert Saar (KLTK).
I kvalet ätterfinns inte mindre än 16 svenska spelare.
