On the morning of March 15, Gongjing District held a publicity campaign with the theme of “boosting consumer confidence” on the “3.15” International Consumer Rights Day in 2023, striving to create a social atmosphere of honest management, scientific consumption, and green consumption, and promote the improvement of the consumption environment. Quality upgrades, stimulate consumption potential, and further protect the rights and interests of consumers.
The relevant person in charge of the Gongjing District Market Supervision Bureau notified the district’s 2022 consumer rights protection work. In 2022, Gongjing District will carry out more than 300 litigation and mediation services, develop 19 ODR enterprises, accept a total of 1,399 complaints and reports throughout the year, with a 100% completion rate, and recover losses of 392,100 yuan for consumers. At the same time, it also awarded licenses to provincial, municipal, and district “contract-honoring and credit-worthy” enterprises in 2020-2021, and “safe and comfortable demonstration unit” enterprises in 2022.
The relevant departments of Gongjing District also set up a publicity platform for consulting services on the spot to carry out publicity on consumer knowledge, legal rights protection, and counterfeit identification to citizens. (Wang Xiangying)
