Hello, what are you reading, Dodo Roščić? – literature

The parents, both initially doctors in Belgrade, later moved to Linz, and when she returns there today, Dodo Roščić still looks at this city with the eyes of her youth: “The Posthof, the Landgrave, also the Brucknerhaus, the aquarium, die Kapu…” Places of her growing up as a steel city child with the music of Texta as a soundtrack. In 1991 she graduated from high school and moved to Vienna, where she studied comparative literature and German with Wendelin Schmidt-Dengler. “I didn’t just like him in terms of Heimito von Doderer or SK Rapid, I really adored him.” He didn’t have to stop her to read more because the parents’ bookshelves were well stocked. “But I would have avoided one or the other Schiller without him!” She still prefers to read printed matter, but she also has an e-book reader.
