This modern rock duo forged their first weapons last December on the Fil stage.
No and 2023
The young group, formed in 2023, is made up of the Stéphanois Lucas Pourrat (vocals, guitar) and Maxime Chorel (drums), who had previously played together in Collimateur. The Covid pandemic brought its share of upheavals and ultimately allowed the two friends to reinvent themselves by creating a new musical aesthetic.
The group has already pre-recorded twenty songs independently, relying, among other things, on know-how in computer-assisted music acquired during their diploma in musical studies at the Massenet conservatory.
On this basis, still to be refined for a future album, Hello Storm was selected in 2023 by Le Fil to join the “profiled system”, which is aimed at young emerging talents.
“We benefited from around ten days in the studio and two days in residence on the Club stage, explains Lucas Pourrat. The group was put in real working conditions to prepare for a concert. It gave us confidence and gave us new opportunities.”
A busy year 2024
Because everything will come together perfectly for Salut L’Orage in this year 2024.
The weather is going to be busy: production of a first single, artistic support at Pax and around ten concerts already scheduled, including in Saint-Étienne.
With the highlight of a selection opening act for the famous group DionysosThursday March 7, on the main stage of Le Fil.
