Exciting action scenes, intense fights, a narrative peppered with satirical humor… No doubt, Helldivers 2 is a resounding success that we won’t get tired of anytime soon.
She has come a long way, the franchise Helldiverssince its launch in 2015. In fact, this long-awaited sequel ultimately has little in common with the original chapter as it surpasses it in every way.
In addition to presenting a more refined aesthetic, we are now abandoning the classic isometric view – what a wise decision! – for the benefit of the third person, capable of both making the experience more immersive, but also giving it more dynamism.
However, we are propelled into the same dystopian universe where the human race is now installed on a new planet: Super-Earth. But this being threatened by different extraterrestrial species, it is up to the army of Helldivers – of which the player is obviously a part – to crush these entomological enemies to restore, then maintain, peace and freedom.

Imposing Arsenal
It doesn’t take long to show us what Helldivers are capable of; the first seconds of the game immerse the player in a series of frantic tutorials, just to familiarize him with all the means at his disposal to stop these critters.
And we don’t do things lightly when it comes time to enter the battlefield; weapons of all kinds, devastating grenades, shield generators, aerial drops of resources are just a few tools at hand to carry out the different missions offered. It’s brutal, it’s breathless, but above all it’s frankly exhilarating to decimate the hordes of alien creatures at a staggering pace.
Brief, Helldivers 2 immediately establishes itself as a new must-have for fans of the genre.
