Hell Let Loose Developers Attempt To Fix It

Yes, upon exiting Hell Let Loose had all the ingredients to become the new benchmark for strategic multiplayer FPS, its further development disappointed more than one. The fault of recurring problems and still not corrected several months after its release, that a change of studio at the beginning of 2023 clearly did not help. As if taken in a sacrificial momentum, the new developers took the last fans of the license by surprise with a trailer full of emptiness and unease broadcast during the PC Gaming Show last June.

In a new post published on Steam last week, the developers say they are well aware of the disaster. If they had revealed a more or less interesting roadmap to us at the beginning of the year, after several weeks of reflection, they announce that they finally want to focus on the problems that the community most often brings up. Starting by removing recent additions such as the maximum speed which increases exponentially or the ability to dive forward to lie down. Well, let’s say that we have to start with something and that the (very) many gameplay problems noted by the players will also end up being corrected.

Those who weren’t excited by the announcement of a more arcade game mode will however be delighted to learn that it has been postponed. Unfortunately, it is the same for the British forces, however promised for a long time already. To make up for all that removed content, you can vent all your anger in the new Training Camp!

Finally, the developers also specify that they will release more patches in the hope of quickly improving the gaming experience, before these completely leak the servers. They also explain why some bugs are particularly complicated to correct.
