After a three-year break, pop queen Helene Fischer returned to the stage this year with her spectacular Christmas concert. She received support from numerous colleagues in the profession. But not everyone was celebrated as much as the 39-year-old. One person who had to take a lot of criticism is Beatrice Egli.
The woman from Schwyz performed her song “Zuhaus” together with the host. For her appearance, the 35-year-old chose a silver, figure-hugging dress with a huge ruffle on the right side. She paired it with pink high heels while wearing her hair in a braid. A styling that earned her a lot of criticism on social media. On “I’ll be wearing Beatrice Egli’s outfit to the office from Wednesday,” mocks a third user.
And that’s not all: Beatrice Egli – like many other stars that evening – is also accused of a playback performance. “Are they singing playback? “Helene doesn’t need that any more than Beatrice Egli does,” it says in one post. Another fan agrees and says: “I think it’s a shame that playback is still performed so often on German TV.”
