Heir to the throne Prince William announces upcoming trip to Wales

The new British heir to the throne, William, who has now inherited the title of Prince of Wales from his father, wants to serve the people of that part of the country.

He and his wife Kate, now known as the Princess of Wales, wanted to serve the Welsh people with “humility and great respect,” the 40-year-old said in a phone call with Welsh Prime Minister Mark Drakeford.

The couple also said they would be traveling to Wales very soon to meet with the country’s politicians. William and Kate had lived temporarily on the island of Anglesey in far north-west Wales before moving to London’s Kensington Palace. They now live in Windsor with their three children.
