Hegazy will return to Saudi Arabia next week to prepare for the derby

Saudi press reports revealed that doubts are still swirling around the position of Ahmed Hegazy, the defender of the Jeddah Federation and the national team, regarding his participation in the Jeddah derby once morest Al-Ahly, in the 22nd round of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional Cup.

The Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahly match will be held in the Jeddah city derby, on Saturday, February 26.

In a related context, a source in the Egyptian national team confirmed that Ahmed Hegazy, the defender of the Pharaohs, will not join the two matches of Senegal in the decisive stage of the qualifications for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Hegazy was injured during the national team’s confrontation with Morocco in the eighth round of the African Nations Cup.
