Heavy rains wreaked havoc in different cities of Punjab, 8 dead in Balochistan – Pakistan

In various cities of Punjab, including Lahore, the heavy rain has created a flood situation in the early morning, while eight people have lost their lives in the recent rains in Balochistan.

An incident of lightning occurred during the rain in Mauza Khairewala of Chobara Tehsil, as a result of which 36 goats were killed. Cattle Pal Muhammad Sharif is grief-stricken over the loss of lakhs of rupees.

There was heavy rain with thunder and strong winds in different cities of Punjab. The feeders also tripped.

In the provincial capital Lahore including Shimla Pahari, Lakshmi Chowk, Gwalmandi, Cordoba Chowk, Davis Road, Mall Road, Achhra, Qainchi, Chongi Amar Sidhu, Gujumta, Islampura, Bund Road, Anar Kali, Shalamar Bagh, Model Town, Gulbarg, Garden Town. In other places, the clouds rained heavily, the low-lying areas were inundated following heavy rain.

Apart from Lahore, Muridke, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Safdarabad, Jardanwala, Faisalabad, Chiniot, Toba Tek Singh, Kamonki, Narowal, Okara, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Renala Khurd, Kot Addu, Bhalwal, Kabirwala, Hafizabad, Manchanabad, Some light and some heavy rains also occurred in Shurkot, Pakpattan and other cities in the morning.

Due to the rain in various cities of Punjab, the weather became more pleasant due to the breaking of the heat. Difficulties were encountered.

Rainfall in 2 areas of the city completed century in mm, Cordoba Chowk recorded 110 mm while Lakshmi Chowk recorded 105 mm.

Jail Road recorded 48 mm, Airport 23 mm, Gulberg 76 mm, Apparmal 49 mm, Mughalpura 53 mm, Tajpura 40 mm, Nishtar Town 51 mm and Chowk Nakhda 48 mm.
