The Twitter platform “Jeddah Now” hashtag was issued following the heavy rains, and it is still as of this writing, and the sky appeared overcast with clouds.
The civil defense teams in the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region announced their readiness and field preparations to deal with any incoming reports following the current and expected rainy situation in the governorates of the region, and the speed of response to it, which ranges from medium to heavy accompanied by active winds that may lead to floods.
