There had been some local rainfall the night before. Head of the Labinsky district Vladimir Zaburaev specified that 39.5 mm of precipitation fell in the city. This is 39.5 liters of water per square meter.
The result was flooding of yards and houses.
As of 07:00, 126 yards remain flooded in the city, water has entered 12 houses. Work is underway to pump out water, the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the region reports.
Also, the affected houses are bypassed by the evaluation commissions.
According to Zaburaev, 176 applications were submitted, of which, according to the applicants, water entered 102 houses. So far, more than 50 houses have been examined, of which the presence of water in the house was confirmed in 50% of cases.
Recall that the storm warning for showers with thunderstorms, hail and squally winds up to 22 meters per second has been extended in the Krasnodar Territory for the fourth time – until the end of the day on June 5.
