The torrential downpour that fell this Friday followingnoon throughout Ciudad Guayana left consequences, including several flooded streets and avenues, as well as reports of power failures in different areas of the Caroní municipality.

In both San Félix and Puerto Ordaz the rains were accompanied by electric shocks. The sewage system collapsed in different sectors, such as in Unare.

Users report that large gaps were formed as a result of the rainfall, such as on Calle 5 with the intersection of Carrera Uchire in Unare, near the Biblos Shopping Center.

Also in the La Piña vial and its surroundings were flooded by the large amount of water that fell. The scene was repeated in different sections of Guayana Avenue.

In Bella Vista, residents of the area indicated that some houses were flooded by rainwater.

While in Puerto Ordaz, at the end of this Friday followingnoon the system failed in Chilemex, first the 220 voltage was interrupted and then complete, according to residents of the area.

According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology of Venezuela (Inameh), the Bolívar state will present convective nuclei generating rain, some with electric shocks for this Friday, which was fulfilled.
