Heavy rains, sometimes stormy (20 to 40 mm) are expected Monday from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the provinces of Safi, Essaouira, Chtouka-Aït Baha, Inezgane-Ait Melloul, Taroudant, Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni , Khemisset, Salé, Sidi Slimane, Rabat, Kenitra and Skhirate-Temara, specifies the DGM in an orange level weather alert bulletin.
The same phenomenon (20 to 40 mm) will concern Monday from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. the provinces of Azilal, Beni Mellal and Al Haouz, adds the same source. These heavy rains will also be observed (40 to 70 mm) from Monday at 6 a.m. to Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the provinces of Mdiq-Fnideq, Fahs-Anjra, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Al Hoceima, Nador and Driouch.
Snowfall beyond 1,800 m (20-35 cm) will affect the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Chichaoua, Midelt, Ouarzazate and Taroudant on Monday and Tuesday. In addition, strong gusts of wind (75-95 km / h) are expected from Sunday to Monday in the provinces of Fahs-Anjra, Tangier-Assilah, Tetouan and M’diq-Fnideq.
