Heavy rain in UAE. The Meteorological Center has stated that the weather will be unstable for a few days in the country. Parks in Sharjah will not open until further notice. It is reported that the rain will continue tomorrow.
The rain that started in the morning is still continuing in the UAE. Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi emirates received the most rainfall. Traffic in Dubai and Sharjah was disrupted due to heavy rains. Roads flooded in many places in Sharjah.
Wind gusts up to 50 km/h are possible. In view of the rain, the Meteorological Center had earlier announced a yellow alert, but it is reported that there will be rain in some places. The Home Ministry advised motorists to be cautious. Warnings have been issued in various languages including Chinese and Urdu. People should stay away from valleys and wadis due to risk of flash floods
Global Village not open due to rain in Dubai The municipality has stated that the parks will not open in Sharjah until the weather returns to normal. Bus on demand service has been canceled in Ajman keeping in mind the safety of passengers.
