Billboard called Linkin Park’s return “triumphant.” The band joins a list of previous performers of the Worlds anthem, including Imagine Dragons, Lil Nas X, Zedd, NewJeans and more.
The Worlds 2024 music video features renowned League of Legends player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok as the newly crowned king, battling legions of pretenders to the throne who are beating down the gates. Through the story of a warrior who fights to defend a besieged kingdom, the music video pays homage to Faker and T1’s victory at Worlds 2023 while embodying the strength of spirit of League players. It also nods to the history of monarchies and dynasties that sit in London, where the Worlds finals will take place on November 2, 2024.
