Rocio Tamarathe 26-year-old woman who denounced the footballer Sebastian Villa for alleged sexual abuse and attempted murder, she spoke to the media regarding the episode that led her to denounce the Boca Juniors player.
Tamara shared all the details of what happened on the night of June 26, 2021 at Villa’s house in Canning, a town in Buenos Aires.
“That night was terrible, it was in a place where I was comfortable and with the person I loved. And suddenly it wasn’t like that anymore. It was very shocking, it hurt me in every way. I went to a hospital because my whole belly hurt and it was very difficult for me to walk. I was alone in my house, I was too embarrassed to tell someone how and where it hurt. But I knew that I mightn’t be alone in my house because it was wrong”, said the woman.
Also, in an exclusive interview for InfobaeHe said: “I feel pain. It hurts me. It hurts me a lot. Look, I was from Boca and my whole family was from Boca. There was a lot of celebration when Boca played, and that is something that cannot be done anymore in my family. It’s disappointing”.
He also gave his opinion on the club’s decision xeneize to keep the player in their ranks despite the complaints he has once morest him: “I can’t decide. The only thing I ask of Boca, and of everyone, is a little empathy and respect. We all have the principle of innocence, that’s true, but a little empathy is not possible? I don’t understand, why do they have to inflate it so much? At least, I don’t know, to be a little more empathetic.”
Likewise, he revealed the reasons why he decided to make the complaint: “Very few people knew what had happened. Only the intimate ones. He mightn’t talk to just anyone. I did it more for myself. I mightn’t live like this anymore, with that in tow. She mightn’t anymore. I hesitated a lot. I was very afraid. But I realized that if not, I’m going to carry that with me my whole life.”
He also referred to the court’s decision on the case: “It was something that I knew was going to happen, that’s why I didn’t even want to see the resolution. Already knew. I know who I’m fighting. However, I have faith in Justice still. I believe that if he were a normal person, this would not happen. If we find out that it is Sebastián, what would happen? Can we see it as normal to judge it? It’s more because of who he is and the heritage he has.”
Just last week, Javier Maffucci MooreJudge of Guarantees 2 of Lomas de Zamora, rejected the request of the prosecutor Vanesa González to arrest the Colombian for “there is no serious basis.”
“The evidence does not meet, for the moment and to date, the entity claiming the article 151 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The arrest requires a serious and objective foundation of criminal possibility and this happens whenever there are sufficient elements of conviction. Here there is obviously a degree of possibility that the event would have occurred; however, the indications that work in this regard do not assume the degree of intensity, univocality, coherence and effectiveness that an arrest warrant demands, ”reads the Judge’s ruling.
Besides everything, questioned the woman’s statements: “In a few words, there is a strong suspicion both regarding the occurrence of the denounced act, and the participation of the defendant in it,” reads the ruling. Furthermore, he adds:
“The presence of numerous inconsistencies and missing items both in the collection of evidence, as well as in the argumentation, justification and motivation of the request made, which closes the fate of that claim by denying it,” the ruling added.
