Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — During Eid al-Adha, people are keen to visit relatives and friends. Some may find it difficult to adhere to a healthy lifestyle during this period when dining tables are decorated with the most delicious foods and sweets.
The UAE Ministry of Health and Community Protection recently tweeted on “Twitter” some tips that help people spend a healthy holiday, and prevent indigestion, heartburn, weight gain, fatigue, exhaustion, and the desire to sleep for longer times.
7 tips for a healthy Eid al-Adha:
Eat a light, healthy and integrated breakfast early in the morning. Avoid eating fried foods because they contain a high percentage of fats and sugars that cause indigestion and weight gain.
