Healthy Lifestyle Influencer Offers $100 to Avoid McDonald’s: Santa Cruz Medicinals

No kibble and getting $100 back, would you agree? An American influencer and entrepreneur who runs a supplement company pitched the idea to a stranger.

Brendan Ruh, CEO of “Santa Cruz Medicinals”, says he wants to promote healthy lifestyles on his TikTok account.

Through her website and her social networks, the influencer regularly meets customers in the grocery aisles of California, in order to convince them not to buy soft drinks.

His most recent video, however, takes place near a McDonald’s restaurant, where he tries to convince a young man not to get a meal from the famous fast food chain.

“Today, we are at McDonald’s and will offer $100 to people who agree not to go to McDonald’s,” he says from the outset in the extract which has garnered nearly 100,000 views.

The young man who exercises says he orders kibble because it “fits his diet”, adding that he is training.

Influencer Brendan Ruh counters that it’s “bad training”, and that the American company’s McCroquettes are “heavily processed”.

“I’m offering you $100 so that you don’t go to McDonald’s,” said the American, following asking the customer if he “cared regarding his diet.”

Surprised, the customer who is named Jay finally accepts the offer and turns back.
