7 a.m.: we’re off to a good start
To start the day with a light stomach, but with the feeling of being satiated, breakfast is a must. Forget croissants and orange juice: too greasy and sweet, but also not very satisfying. Opt instead for a fiber and müesli yogurt made with yogurt ferments from the Danone Activia range. Aren’t you in the morning? Plan a break around 10 am. The Activia Mix & Go with granola is the ideal breakfast if you decide to take it to work.
11 a.m.: a gentle break
In a day, even hectic, it is essential to take a break regularly. Every hour, drink a large glass of water to stay hydrated throughout the day. A little coffee with colleagues is good for morale, but limit your consumption to one or two a day. Also note that stress is the sworn enemy of your belly. At the office (or at home), arrange to isolate yourself for a while in the middle of the morning or as soon as the pressure starts to rise. Close your eyes and breathe calmly, following the movements of your belly. Do you have a little more time? Cram in a mini jog, a meditation session or take your dog out to the park next door. Need a little sweetness along the way? Natural flavored waters allow you to stay hydrated, the little flavored touch as a bonus.
1 p.m.: we get some fresh air and breathe
Diet plays a determining role in intestinal balance. To avoid bloating or if you suffer from regular stomach aches, be sure to adopt a balanced diet by limiting processed products, too fatty, too salty and too sweet which disturb the balance of the intestinal flora. Choose foods rich in fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains, dried fruits, etc.), but also in minerals and vitamins. At noon, take the time to enjoy your meal. Give yourself between 15 and 20 minutes: the minimum time for your body to send you the first signs of satiety. Switch off your phone and end your break with a mini stroll. The opportunity to activate the different organs that come into play during the digestion process.
7 p.m.: we blow (for real)
The evening meal is linked to the notion of conviviality. It is therefore important to take the time to cook healthy, but not boring dishes, which you will gladly share with your family or friends. Note that certain foods should be eaten in moderation if you are looking to rebalance your stomach: foods that are too spicy, but also raw vegetables which tend to upset digestion. At the end of the meal, prepare yourself an herbal tea: a must to enjoy the benefits of plants, but also to boost your level of hydration. In the evening, in front of your favorite series, treat yourself to one last treat: a square of dark chocolate or a handful of dried fruit, for example.
