Health: We provided all treatment lines for patients living with AIDS

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that Egypt has succeeded in providing all treatment lines for AIDS free of charge to patients, indicating that Egypt aims to eliminate the disease or reach the lowest prevalence rates, adding that there is an expansion in examination clinics, detection, analysis and dispensing treatments. .

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, a spokesman for the Ministry of Health, revealed the services provided by the ministry to people living with HIV, which causes AIDS, noting that the services include examination and counseling related to HIV, as the laboratory examination is done in complete confidentiality.

He said that the services include integrated social support for people infected with the virus and their families, in addition to clinical care for those infected with the virus, with free treatment through treatment centers in fever hospitals in all governorates of the Republic.
