While the City of Rognac decided to expand by “precautionary principle” to its entire municipality after the discovery of a pathogen in its water network and that in turn, Vitrolles was also struck by a decree prefectoral ban on water consumption according to certain districts of the municipality, it is a bit of a psychosis that has seized some inhabitants of the municipalities.

This morning, several of them have indeed decided to stock up in supermarkets. if in Rognac, a distribution of water to the population takes place at two different places from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 4:30 p.m. Saint-Jacques (the rest of the city), at the Carrefour Market in Rognac, the inhabitants anticipated. “I came because I didn’t have too much information. I managed to buy a few bottles but I don’t overdo it because there is also the city’s distribution but I’m still anticipating because it’s enough blurry and I’m afraid of missing out on my children”, explains Raphaël, father of a family from Rognac.

With 3,000 euros per month, we can’t get by so we anticipate“, admits Isabelle, mother of 3 children.

For its part, the ARS must make public its next analysis results in the coming days concerning the quality of the water in Rognac. On Vitrolles, same fight at the end of the week. Let’s hope, this time, that we know with certainty what is going on in the pipes of the water networks. This would ease the tensions that are beginning to rise among some citizens.
