A meeting is scheduled for Monday between the premiers of the provinces and Justin Trudeau to discuss, in particular, health transfers.

Unless significant progress is made in the talks, the meeting scheduled for Monday evening and which will continue Tuesday in Ottawa should not lead to an agreement, the objective of which is only to share expectations and demands.
The provinces would like to increase the share of federal spending in the health sector from 22% to 25%, which would increase the total amount from 45 to 73 billion dollars.
