Health provides health coverage at the “Transchaco Rally 2024”

Asuncion, IP Agency.- The Ministry of Public Health, through the health regions of Boquerón and Presidente Hayes, is prepared to respond to any health emergency that may arise during the event, which runs until June 30.

The health department stresses that this preparation is part of the commitment to guarantee the safety and well-being of everyone during the important sporting event.

In this regard, health centres, hospitals and specialist hospitals are equipped and ready to assist participants and spectators in the event of any emergency that may arise. These include the services of the Chaco health regions of Boquerón and Presidente Hayes.

For this purpose, the Mariscal Estigarribia Regional Hospital has medical and nursing staff available 24 hours a day, with 24 beds and 2 stretchers in the Emergency Department.

The Maternal and Child Hospital of Villa Choferes del Chaco also has medical and nursing staff available 24 hours a day, as well as 4 beds and 2 emergency stretchers.

In addition to the Pozo Colorado Hospital, with medical and nursing staff available, with emergency services available; USF Ampliada La Patria, with medical staff, 6 beds and the San Agustín Hospital, also with medical staff and 3 beds.

Likewise, the Irala Fernández Health Center has medical and nursing staff, 4 beds in a common room and emergency care; while the Villa Hayes Regional Hospital has 10 beds in the emergency room for adults, 4 pediatric beds, 2 operating rooms and a UTIA room. It also offers surgery, traumatology and obstetrics 24 hours a day.

In more complex situations, various specialist hospitals, such as the Trauma and National Hospitals, are prepared to receive referrals, as are general hospitals.

Likewise, several ambulances are operational to cover urgent transfer needs:

  • Mobile No. 335: Assigned to USF Pozo Colorado.
  • Mobile No. 12: Assigned to the Villa Hayes Regional Hospital.

  • Mobile No. 16: Assigned to Picada 100 zone.
  • Villa Choferes: 2 Basic Support ambulances.
  • XVI RS: 9 Basic Support ambulances.

This preparation is part of the Ministry of Health’s commitment to ensure the safety and well-being of everyone during this important sporting event.

Accident affected two fans

This Friday, an accident was reported in which two fans were injured, who were taken to the Mariscal Estigarribia Regional Hospital for first aid. According to the medical report, both are in good general condition. One of them will require surgery due to the type of fracture suffered, and will be transferred to the Trauma Hospital.
