Finding a doctor on call, at night, on weekends is now a feat. Or just luck. The permanence of care falling under liberal practitioners “is badly or more assured, everything happens at the hospital”, underlined Emmanuel Macron during his wishes to the world of health, on January 6. The Head of State therefore wants to “re-responsibilize and encourage permanent care in the city”. Remarks little appreciated by the unions of liberal practitioners, even if these guards would be “better paid”. However, the government intends to move forward on the issue.
