Health Minister Guillermo Jaramillo delivered strong accusations in the midst of the health reform debateas he assured that with the covid-19 pandemic they set up “a business” in Colombia by tripling the Intensive Care Units to receive patients with complications.

“In our department they opened ICUs as if they opened any type of drugstore. I would like us to see how many came out of those units alive,” he said.
“The most dangerous thing in this world is going to an ICU without having the people trained and qualified to attend to that. They have not told us, but a very big business was made with the covid,” he added.

“It is not the reform of Petro or Corcho, it is that of all of us,” shared the person who arrived at the ministry on April 26.
