The town hall of Martigues has just announced it in a press release: “Sfollowing the presence of an unusual looking foam on the shoreline“, the City prohibits “as a preventive measure (municipal decree) bathing and the circulation of watercraft on Laurons beach, Bonnieu beach, Anse de Bonnieu and Carro beach until Wednesday June 21 at 2 p.m.“.

The services of the municipality specify that this prohibition “may be extended depending on the feedback from analyzes on the quality of the water in progress“. According to the town hall, “the 1st analyzes do not reveal any pollution of chemical origin“.
