– Treat colon cancer without chemotherapy
A team from the University of Geneva has discovered a way to overcome resistance to conventional treatments for this serious disease.
Colorectal cancer is one of the most common, and the survival rate following five years of care is unfortunately still quite low. This cancer is also the second in terms of mortality, following that of the lung. In particular because following a few years, the majority of patients resist conventional treatments, mainly chemotherapy. However, researchers from the University of Geneva (UNIGE) have discovered a way to overcome this resistance.
