Health: All Egyptian pilgrims detained in Saudi hospitals are in stable condition

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, confirmed that all pilgrims The Egyptians detained in Saudi hospitals are in stable condition, and their health condition is monitored, and they are visited several times a day, and cases that have been discharged following recovery are followed up, in addition to the periodic follow-up of the three pilgrims who receive dialysis sessions.

For his part, Dr. Amr Kandil, Head of the Preventive Medicine Sector and Head of the Hajj Medical Mission, explained that all of the pilgrims are in good health and are safe from any infectious diseases, and that there is full cooperation and coordination with all hospitals and the Saudi health authorities.

He pointed out that the Hajj medical mission handed over bags to the Egyptian pilgrims containing guidance brochures, and masks, in addition to a set of medicines to treat indigestion and dehydration medicines, pain relievers, antipyretics, medicines for cold symptoms, anti-inflammatory ointments for skin, burns and bone pain, in addition to some vitamins, Noting that the preventive medicine teams are clarifying how to use during the delivery of bags.

He noted that the mission team was divided into groups that work throughout the day to pass by hospitals in the holy sites to check on the health of Egyptian pilgrims, while the mission’s emergency room continues to receive calls from Egyptian pilgrims.
