A driver was fighting for her life early Tuesday evening following a head-on collision in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, in Montérégie.
According to the first information available, a vehicle deviated from its lane to collide with a second vehicle which was coming in the opposite direction, around 5 p.m., near the intersection between rue Roberval and chemin de la Rabastalière Ouest.
A woman in her seventies was seriously injured in the collision and was in critical condition in hospital early in the evening, reported the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL).
The motorist driving the second vehicle also suffered injuries, but his life was not threatened.
