Firefighters from the Vesdre, Hoëgne & Plateau emergency zone were called for an extrication this Thursday around 8:30 a.m., following a head-on accident which occurred in Xhendelesse (commune of Herve), rue des Deux Tilleuls.

On site, our journalist learned that this accident concerned a teacher and a mother who had just taken her child to Soiron school. The first, driving a Citroën C4 Picasso, deviated from its trajectory in a curve for an unknown reason and hit the Ford station wagon of the second, which was arriving opposite.
The driver of the C4 had to be extricated. She lost consciousness on the spot and suffered ankle injuries.
